Yes you can. You can send or receive a payment in a variety of currencies, including: Euro, US Dollar, and British Pounds Sterling. We will be working on expanding our variety of currencies, including Danish Kroner, Swiss Francs and other currencies within the EEA.
If you do not have a balance in the currency that you are sending, or if you withdraw a currency that does not match the nationality of the bank account receiving the withdrawal, ShieldPay will ordinarily convert the funds into the currency of the payment you are sending or the bank account receiving the withdrawal, and will charge a fee for the conversion.
Before the we convert a currency, we will inform you of the exchange rate to be applied and the fee to be charged. We will proceed with the conversion once you instruct us to continue.
You can receive money in any of the currencies that are listed above. If the currency you receive does not match the nationality of your ShieldPay account, we will not convert the foreign currency into the national one until you instruct it to do so, withdraw the funds into your bank account, or send them in another currency.
