Dispute raised by Seller or Buyer
Stage 1: Negotiation Period begins – ShieldPay guided mediation process (14 days)
a. Evidence gathered from both parties, this will be mostly be emails
b. Parties make submissions to each other and seek to find a resolution
Potential Resolution: both sides provide approval to release the funds.
c. ShieldPay customer support will guide parties through the negotiation period
Stage 2: Negotiation Period ends – ShieldPay decision (48 hours)
a. ShieldPay provides a non-binding ruling on the dispute within 48 hours.
Stage 3: Arbitration Commencement Period ends (3 days)
a. Parties agree: Parties provide joint instruction to release the funds
b. No resolution: We turn to our outsourced arbitration service, Ajuve Arbitration.
